When you feel like the only person at school who has to wear an FM unit, and you struggle, with the invisible nature of hearing loss, and auditory processing challenges, it is easy to feel all alone, frustrated and different! 

In a couple of my schools, I noticed that there were many students with hearing challenges and FM units who faced the same problems with communication and noise everyday, in the same building, and did not even know each other well! In those schools, I was successfully able to create an Advocates in Action Teambuilding group that meets one time each month to build friendships and support systems while playing teambuilding games, and having fun together! Here are images from our latest "FM-Only Club" Teambuilding group activities!
